Mt Field is one of the first stops if you are a lover of hiking when you are coming from Hobart, from the visitors centre you can follow several walks which navigate around the lower forest. Russell falls is an incredible cascading waterfall engulfed in ferns and tall giants.

Heading up towards the alpine area, you drive through painted gums to reach the carpark where you can set off for an easy day hike or make it an over night and work your way around the tarnns and summits.

This work was found and created outside national park boundary just over the river from the entrance.

Mt Field is a poster child for the protection and conservation of native landscapes and the long term economic benefit it offers.

As a resource, education and tourism offers a more sustainable and beneficial option compared to mining and logging.

10% will be donated to the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre, this work is created on stolen land, this donation is to pay respect and reparations for the atrocities inflicted on the first nations peoples of Tasmania.
